We’re happy to announce that, as of today, the MDS and HMDS organizations are merging to become one big family: the MARATHON DES SABLES’ family.
In 2024, the events will adopt new denominations.
The MARATHON DES SABLES Morocco, which celebrates its 38th edition in 2024, will become “MARATHON DES SABLES, The Legendary”.
The HMDS editions will become “MARATHON DES SABLES”, including in 2024, the MARATHON DES SABLES Namibia, Cappadocia, Fuerteventura, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, and Peru.The concept of the events will not change.
MARATHON DES SABLES, The Legendary, will remain the mythical 240km, 5-stage race in the Sahara, the ultimate adventure for any passionate runner.
MARATHON DES SABLES’ events, whatever the destination, will keep their different formats (120, 100 or 70km in 3 stages), and will continue to take you on timeless adventure through the world’s most beautiful deserts.PS: Registrations for Namibia and Cappadocia will open at the end of October. The official date will be announced in the next few days.
